ABOUT GOD & COUNTRY This project began in August of 2004. These messages are written, recorded, produced, and distributed by George Merritt. The May 30, 2008 edition was our 1,000th broadcast. These are 55-second weekday programs available to radio stations at no cost to be used as PSAs and fillers. Reputable businesses may buy air time and sponsor God & Country. God & Country is presently carried on some thirty stations from California to the Carolinas and from Pittsburgh to Pensacola. These faith-based messages focus upon such themes as America’s religious heritage, historical anecdotes, biographical sketches, inspiring examples, home and family, patriotism, freedom, and virtues vs. vices. One listener has described God & Country as "Insights on Our Culture--Yesterday and Today". Starting with the June 2008 programs, GC Scripts are available from our DOCUMENTS file.
